The noise of this cycle is going to be stablecoin fervor, real world asset tokenization and a resurgence of "blockchaining all of the things" (especially AI). The signal will be bitcoin maturing as a preferred collateral asset in private credit markets, the continued maturation.

Google Play will ban non-custodial wallets unless developers hold a FinCEN, state banking, or MiCA license. In the EU, MiCA rules effectively block such wallets entirely from the store.

Funnily enough, speculation around “utility tokens” diminishes the utility of the applications they grant access to for those who didn’t speculate early enough. The utility is further diminished by the fact that the applications are built on blockchains.
