On Aug. 26, Min. Chiu met IPAC Delegation, consisting of 🇬🇧MP Duncan Smith, 🇵🇱former FM/MEP Fotyga, 🇸🇪MP Berntsson & IPAC Founder de Pulford. With IPAC members now in 43 countries, Min. Chiu thanked them for affirming strong support for Taiwan in the international community.

Min. Chiu welcomed 🇬🇹Congress Pres. Nery Ramos & the cross-party delegation visiting TW and stressed TW's frontline role facing CCP's threats. Mr. Ramos understands the political reality TW faces & said that he is representing the will of 100% Guatemalan to convey support for TW.

The MAC sternly condemns the CCP for targeting VP Hsiao with surveillance & an attempted ramming in Prague last March. We demand explanation, public apology, and end to intimidation of Taiwanese officials, and call on the intl community to stand united against such coercion.
I had a great visit to Prague & thank the Czech authorities for their hospitality & ensuring my safety. The CCP’s unlawful activities will NOT intimidate me from voicing Taiwan’s interests in the international community.

We thank the US House of Representatives for passing the Taiwan International Solidarity Act & the Taiwan Assurance Implementation Act – steadfast support from US Congress sends a clear message against China's misuse of UN Resolution 2758 to limit Taiwan's international space.
