It's unbelievable how many right-wing grifters ran with this story. It was all I saw on my "For You" timeline for a week, and it was complete BS.
Nice, clinical NYT look at how thin the "Sydney Sweeney ad backlash" was when GOP influencers started hammering it. Just a handful of online weirdos who you would not otherwise use as the basis for a story.

It seems to me that nearly the entire country is suffering from a lack of book reading. Impossible to read Bill Russell's memoir, "Second Wind," and then state something like this.

The president is the only person who could talk about putting $10 million here and $10 million there and spin that into being a victim. Poor guy--what a rough life he's had. .
