I'm moving on. Too much AI-enshittification, too many nazis, too much utter bullshit. Will be squatting the name but checking in very infrequently (ie deleting the app off my phone) Catch me where the skies are blue as luked Or LinkedIn probably?

To everyone this app connected me with - I love you all. I'm a better person because of how Twitter broadened my horizons. I owe massive chunks of my career to Twitter. But 2025 Twitter ain't what it used to be and I'm tired of voluntarily taking psychic damage here.

Yesterday we announced that we are doing a Kickstarter for STARS REACH. We're doing this because the climate for games investment is terrible. We've raised a lot of money, and expect to keep raising. Being able to show support from players helps. Even a Follow goes a long way:

BREAKING: Sam Altman of OpenAI: “We are now confident we know how to build AGI as we have traditionally understood it. We believe that, in 2025, we may see the first AI agents ‘join the workforce’ and materially change the output of companies”

This article misses the leading use case for MS Copilot+ PCs which is obviously as ammunition for trebuchets https://t.co/yUKSREJe5n

Microsoft is betting big on this class of laptops with built-in AI processing. Here's what sets these systems apart right now.

If you're still looking for Christmas gifts for your family and friends who don't work in AI but might want to know something about what's going on, I recommend my recent little book on Artificial General Intelligence. It's written to be balanced, reasonable and very accessible

I'm starting to think that the cavalier attitude to hallucinations is a feature not a bug. Who does it benefit to further erode the idea of objective fact?

My @Sunrun system failed in early Sept. No alert from SR, I happened to notice ~3w later. I've been fighting to get an appointment for TWO MONTHS and today they blew off yet another one and the earliest reschedule date is January. Is this typical customer service @MaryGPowell ?

I'm sharing something unique we've been making at Google (w/ UNC). We are releasing our work on a new class of interactive experiences that we call generative infinite games, essentially video games where the game mechanics and graphics are fully subsumed by generative models 🧵

theres a lot of really interesting problems to solve here. like how do we make the AI remember where blocks are placed? and then you think about it for 2 seconds and the answer to every problem is "program Minecraft normally". so what is the point of AI here. why does this exist

The genai Minecraft @DecartAI thing is absolute total poop garbage. It has no world model. They has zero line of sight to not sucking. It will not get incrementally better. I love AI/ML and my job relies on it extensively. These people are charlatans. This is NOT the future. 💩

Companies are only "too big to fail" up until the point they aren't. Migrating massive companies away from Creative Suite is a hell of an endeavor, but there's a tipping point where that becomes less friction than continuing to tolerate their bullshit.

The "AI Race to Recklessness" is poisoning a lot of things and I think this will ultimately backfire on Adobe. They're showing that they cannot be trusted to be responsible partners

Literally Adobe's position - that I've confronted their senior leaders about - is that they know better than everyone. I cannot enforce an AI Governance policy at an enterprise level because they're just going to shove new features in users' faces without any kind of controls

Adobe's stance on this has been openly antagonistic to literally everyone involved. Their position that they decide what's best for not just users but also artists and enterprise is the singular most arrogant stance I've seen.

Adobe now openly antagonizes anti-AI artists, with the company's execs claiming you have no chance to succeed without embracing AI. Details: https://t.co/hMWalEIomw #noai #stopai #saynotoai #adobe #photoshop #substance3d #3dartist #2dartist #3dart #2dart #art
