100% on the @FA this. Make tickets cheaper, have some singing sections and take England around the country.
"The stadium was SILENT - we never got any ENERGY back from the fans, and I think the players delivered a lot to get more from the fans." "If you then hear for half an hour just Wales fans, it's a bit sad because I think the team deserved big support." 🎙️ @gabrielclarke05

I'll never understand why people waste their time at these protests. Even if someone as zealous as Corbyn was PM, he couldn't influence one tangible thing in Israel/Palestine. https://t.co/Ds6HtXGdo6

Demonstrations went ahead despite calls from politicians and police leaders for the protests to be postponed in wake of the Manchester synagogue attack.

Kluivert and Semenyo are such fun players to watch. Football needs these mavericks. https://t.co/C2H7NIezQm

This is an America problem but FIFA had chance to distinguish soccer as a sport that does things differently to others, that wants to grow, be accessible and reach bigger audiences. Instead they’ve chosen the cover of “local market conditions” and a cash grab
On World Cup ticket prices, dynamic pricing & ticket scalping for profit. It's a huge problem. The average fan gets priced out. The fans who are most responsible for creating atmosphere are priced out. Unfortunately nothing new in American sports, but something needs to change.

Anyone who has Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes as their favourite song immediately gets me interested in their music 👌 https://t.co/cXq7DLUHaX

“I’ll tell you what it means,” said Hermione ominously. “It means the Ministry’s interfering at Hogwarts.”
Trump to generals: "America is under invasion from within. We're under invasion from within. No different than a foreign enemy, but more difficult in any ways because they don't wear uniforms. At least when they're wearing a uniform you can take them out."

I get so incredibly bored in Parliament of MPs having a go at each other just because they are in a different party. If an idea's good, back it - regardless of who is proposing it. Surely that's just common sense... I'll work with anyone. I couldn't care less. Corbyn has a good

This tells you all you need to know about Hesgeth. Anyway, it's a brilliant 11-part series on Native America/Custer from @holland_tom and @dcsandbrook. I thoroughly recommend it! https://t.co/nY8SNqAPB4

Just yesterday I listened to the @TheRestHistory podcast about this. They titled it "massacre at Wounded Knee" after 100 innocent women and children were killed with survivors hunted down. The US general called it an "unjustifiable massacre" and sacked the Colonel in charge.
Under my direction, the soldiers who fought at the Battle of Wounded Knee will keep their medals. This decision is final. Their place in history is settled.

It's difficult to imagine Trump ruling any country other than America. If he did, he would be an international pariah. But because he is the President of the United States, foreign leaders are forced to pretend that he isn't an absolute lunatic. It's really something

Jesus didn’t hate anyone. This couldn’t be more opposite to all his teachings. American conservatives do so much damage in the name of Christianity.
As a Christian, one thing I love about Trump is how shameless he is about saying "Love my enemies? No way man, I hate those guys!" So cool how the honesty allows the conversation to actually happen, rather than a bunch of pious platitudes. https://t.co/6Dw4w1CNOT

Probably the best Israel/Palestine article I’ve read in recent years. https://t.co/LTMiMK3Dou

The Prime Minister is so wrapped up in the two-state solution that he’s lost sight of what makes it virtually impossible
