I back the DLR extension to Thamesmead, and I agree with the Council that it should go further to Belvedere! 🚆 However, one must wonder if Tory-run Bexley Council is just posturing and shafting Belvedere again 🤦♂️

Portsmouth Reform, led by @georgedmadgwick, was by far the best performing branch when it came to sign ups and already has 8 Cllr’s of which 3 (I think) are up in May. I literally had dinner with a local Cllr down there yesterday and can guarantee that this is false.
Reform is struggling to recruit enough candidates to stand at next year’s council elections. They’ve even resorted to cold calling members asking them to stand just as paper candidates. That’s why they’ve resorted to getting Bangladeshi’s here on student visas to stand for them.

I may be wrong but this is virtually a leader’s debate and Lord Malcom Offord is essentially the leader of Reform UK Scotland in all but name… Can only guess it’s not official because they haven’t found their man or woman in (sorry) the electorally more important Wales? 🤷🏻♂️
