At the start of every school year, I write a handwritten card to each staff member. It’s a quiet tradition I carried with me to AJHS. A moment to slow down, reflect, pray, and hope for a year filled with joy, confidence, peace, and purpose. Because they matter.

I love summer, but there’s nothing like having staff back on campus. The energy, the laughter, the camaraderie—I’ve missed it. It’s been a great few days with our people back, and I couldn’t be more excited for the year ahead!

We kicked off the year with a fast-paced Goosechase to build culture, connection, and a little healthy competition! In under an hour, teachers explored campus, tackled challenges, and most importantly—shared laughter and joy. What a launch!
