The next semester is starting soon! Today, we have students over in our office. Luc(as) is presenting his research into the history of the most German letter, the ß, to them.

It’s also fascinating to see the file size savings enabled by variable fonts. The variable upright WOFF2 webfont is just 33kB, while Regular and Bold as separate files are 24kB each. You save over 30% file size and gain the ability to fine-tune weights.
