#OnThisDay in 1934, the infamous couple Bonnie and Clyde were killed in Bienville Parish. Check out some of the fascinating records housed at the Louisiana State Archives related to the two gangsters, including scans of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow's death records.

The Archives also houses photographs taken by renowned photographer John B. Gasquet, the first to arrive on the scene after the shootings. Gasquet became the official photographer for the governors of the State of Louisiana, capturing some of the best visual records of his time.
