A few hours down at Festival Gardens this morning with Penny and Steve M. We cleared around the cascade, removing masses of brambles and the dreaded invasive carex pendula! Don't forget our next regular volunteering session is tomorrow morning at 10.30am! #FestivalGardens

Lots of carex pendula and overgrowth removed from around the Chinese Garden this morning. This helped to reveal the stepping stones that had been long buried along with the original planting! #FestivalGardens #ChineseGarden

Lovely little stroll on my way to work, listening to the wildlife while dodging the dig poo, litter, and Flytipping along Litherland Road π΅βπ« π€’

Spring blossom is looking stunning at Poets Park, Bootle at the moment, but there are many other signs of the changing seasons right on our doorstep, despite the heavy rainfall of recent months. These trees where planted thanks to the Levelling Up Grant @seftoncouncil

Thank you to everyone who came along yesterday to give him the send of he deserved. He was loved very much by his family and friends, and this showed through as we shared funny stories and tears. Life will never be the same without his smile. Goodnight and God bless @ziggydan1
