Thank you.
No wonder racial/ethnic minorities develop #lungcancer with less cigarette exposure than non-Hispanic White people (and therefore do not qualify for screening when they should!). Screening eligibility criteria need to change. See the #PotterCriteria: https://t.co/DR6L7IhRa8

Thx! It is such a pleasure to discuss the journey to date and to envision a future where health equity is mandated in healthcare. Without health equity, pillars like quality, safety, and efficiency are myths.
Thought-provoking presentation by @CityofHopeSurg @LorettaEMD this month on her comprehensive research examining #healthequity in #cancer care. Appreciate your leadership in these efforts! @SoCalYuman @DrJaeYKim @DanRazMD @VirginiaSunPhD @laleh_melstrom @COH_SurgOnc @cityofhope

I want to shout out my coach, @KemiDoll on her magnificent 100th podcast episode. “It doesn’t have to be hidden to be safe.” Thanks for dropping this and other gems that nourish us. And for real, I’m already hoping that you’ll expand this 2 part interview into a docu-series!

Check out my chief @DrJaeYKim and the lung cancer journey of his wonderful patient.
Huge thanks to my patient, Devonne Swift and @TODAYshow for raising awareness about lung cancer! 1) Anyone with lungs can get lung cancer. 2) If you’re over 50 and ever smoked, ask about screening. 3) If you need a biopsy, ask about robotic bronchoscopy.

Facts!! Thx for sharing @DrQuinnCapers4
In the last yr I’ve heard from several jr faculty offered #DEI positions. They are intrigued but skeptical. My advice: “if they are serious about #DEI there will be a budget & FTE release.” This ad bluntly states “No FTE will be provided.” C’mon #AMCs, we can & must do better. 🤦🏾‍♂️
