Spotted some extra-strength plastic-bollards-with-plastic-wheel-stops (same/similar to 6th Street Viaduct) on a short stretch of new Hollywood Blvd protected bike lanes (at 101 Freeway). Not quite curb-protection, but feels more substantial than just the soft-hit-plastic-posts

I'm so appreciative of the work of @LATACO, but especially of @ShotOn35mm, whose heart shines through everything he does, and of @el_tragon_de_LA's unique expertise and love for community. They are essential to telling the broader story of L.A. Support what's good! ❤️
Today was tough. Myself + the entire newsroom at @LATACO (minus our fearless leader @theglutster) were furloughed. The next two weeks are crucial! We need thousands of new members to keep me and my talented coworkers on staff. Sign up to save LA TACO - https://t.co/d8kVOM8K6R

Downsizing of LB's live music scene has been detrimental. @LongBeachMayor's proposal for an amphitheater near @TheQueenMary isn't just serendipitous given Irvine just dismissed Live Nation's proposal but it's also perfectly reasonable _and_ achievable.

I think Bike Share systems should be integrated into the local public transit operators. Bikes and transit compliment each other so well. Fare integration would be interesting to figure out. Imagine if your transit fare included a free transfer to a 15 minute bike ride.
