I prefer this metaphor. Test cricket is an artisanal experience, where aficionados go to see the purest form of the craft, whilst the Hundred is like going to the circus - "Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls - prepare to be AMAZED!".Each to their own.
Always a lively (ahem!) debate when this time of year comes round. As one person complained, The Hundred is like going to a kebab shop after dining at The Gavroche. A fun analogy, but equally - is there not room for both?.
