If you're fed up with that stench of Musk and had enough of his advert & Russian bot-ridden swamp, join millions of us on Bluesky. It's a really enjoyable, friendly vibe over there and very user friendly. Basically, like the early Twitter was that we all fell in love with.

Starting my migration away from Musk's toxic bot-ridden cesspit. I'll keep my account here for now until 20th Jan 2025, when I'll deactivate and uninstall on Inauguration Day in the US. In the meantime I'd love to reconnect with you over on Bluesky.

Sad to hear of the passing of the great German-born British artist Frank Auerbach yesterday. What a canon of work he leaves behind from his 70 year career in Camden. #art #London https://t.co/JDw4jJEPrs

Saved from the Holocaust by a sponsorship that took him from Berlin to London as a child, the artist later fell in with Soho’s artistic crowd including Francis Bacon and Lucian Freud

Brilliant film, Steve McQueen's latest, starring Saoirsie Ronan and Paul Weller. Loads of scenes shot on location around #London with numerous set in the Underground bomb shelters. Plenty of old London buses too 😊 Dark and pretty brutal account of East End suffering in WWII.

I've been supporting this club so long I'm old enough to remember the last time we had a 3pm Saturday afternoon kick-off here. #lofc

Tracey Emin: 'I Followed You to the End' at @_WhiteCube #Bermondsey #SE1 As raw, intense and intimately personal as ever. Emin's works still pack a powerful punch. Closes 10th November.

Well worth getting to @EamesFineArt before this Gail Brodholt exhibition ends on Sunday. Beautiful linocut prints in bold vivid colours depicting London and in particular the Tube and rail network. Lucky to already own one myself. Get there and bag yourself some original art.

Cracking pie & mash in Bow #E3. Absolutely top drawer, for under a fiver. Shop was heaving this Friday afternoon, lots of youngsters in too, who will keep the tradition alive. Washed down with a pint of Guinness for £3-90 across the road at the Albert. London prices, eh?

Enjoyable new musical @youngvictheatre about power, politics and the cult of celebrity, based on the 1957 Hollywood film. All music & lyrics by Elvis Costello, with some lovely ballads and catchy tunes. Seemed very timely and relevant, with America heading to the polls next week.

Tonight Marin Alsop conducts @philharmonia at @southbankcentre The first woman to ever be on the podium at Last Night of the Proms in 2013. I was lucky to see her do the same in 2023. It's a packed house. Guess who tutored Marin Alsop? Leonard Bernstein. #London #Classical

It catapulted Mahler into a different stratosphere. When Bernstein died, he was buried with the score of the 'Adagietto' resting on his heart. Tonight Marin Alsop conducts the Philharmonia. The 1st woman to ever be on the podium at Last Night of the Proms in 2013....

Robert F. Kennedy died early the morning of June 6, 1968, a day after he was shot. At the funeral two days later, Leonard Bernstein led the New York Philharmonic in Gustav Mahler's “Adagietto” from Symphony No. 5 at the funeral in St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.. .

I see there's another huge crowd in tonight at Brisbane Road. These postponements and rearrangements are working out well for lower league clubs, aren't they? #lofc
