No driver should ever feel sorry for “costing” another driver the championship if they didn’t actually take them out or whatnot. Sliding off the track in Qatar was a mistake that benefitted 2 points to Lando, but didn’t hurt Max. Sad that 19-year-old Kimi feels so badly 😔

Seeing all the different examples of when a particular driver won or lost the championship shows the pure quality of this season. Was it the best year ever? No… But it still had so many twists and turns, storylines like Max’s near 104-point comeback, etc. Can’t wait for 2026!

Even if Oscar doesn’t end up winning the championship, which still is by far the most likely scenario, he can take a ton of confidence and pride from how he’s rebounding from his struggles over the last few months. He’s still super capable of being a championship calibre driver.

Forget the down year that he’s had and the struggles he’s had handling the Ferrari car. These are mistakes we’ve virtually never seen from him. Clumsily hitting a bollard before start in a lap, backing off at the checkered flag when he still could’ve pushed for another lap. Crazy
