Word that’s making me smile today: novel. The Latin word “novellus” means new, young, or recent. In English, the word “novel” came to be used for book-length works of fiction in the 1500s, via the Italian “novella,” which originally meant a new story.

As we are now going into autumn (or the fall in the US) we think it's perfect for the season. A beautiful poem. Thank you so much for sharing.
Though not quite fitting for the current season, I wrote this poem a year ago and submitted it to literary journals. It was published in @LoftBooks . I encourage to download Issue VII, not only because my poem can also be found there, but because it is a great group of writers.
