Mother Nature challenging us right now. @CoachTRoman Syracuse to DC cancelled. Rush to Rochester for a flight to DC… cancelled. Quit? Hell no! This is a challenge! 5:30am flight out of Syracuse tomorrow. We will get to VA come hell or high water. Literally.

Spent quite a bit of time watching college baseball this weekend. I will only watch a select few teams from here on out. Reason? They have coaches that respect the game and their opponents and demand the same of their players. Any team that doesn’t wear the uni correctly, taunts.

CHALLENGES ARE DUMB. OBSTRUCTION IS WORSE. RUNNERS OUT BY 15 FEET, ARE OUT. STOP REWARDING BAD BASE RUNNING.

Obstruction was introduced for player safety. No blocking the runners path to the base without the ball… The letter of the rule needs to be re-reviewed as this is ridiculous. Too many examples of runners out by 2-3 steps + via routine tag plays being overturned.

Hate the catcher ball flip after an inning ending K. Never been a fan of anything that shows up an opponent. Celebrate, yell and be pumped for the result all day. Leave the bat flips and ball flips out of your allowable celebration arsenal. IMO.

Saw a comment from a travel coach that College camps are just a fundraiser. 🙄Literally no better way for us to get to know prospects than on campus putting them through the paces via many reps. Something no Summer event can guarantee. Shows a lot when you show up!#awfultake
