I do believe the concept of empathy was entirely foreign to Charlie Kirk, as he explained it himself. Advocates for gun control have empathised with all the kids. The far-right only empathises with Mr Kirk's.

Was the right to bear arms really worth it? Is it only tragic now that it's his kids as opposed to the thousands surviving school shootings each year, having witnessed their friends getting shot? Does it matter now?

Charlie Kirk justified school shootings and the life changing trauma to these kids as a fair price for the right to bear arms. He was shot dead in front of his kids, traumatising them for life. His two poor kids now pay the price that their dad believed was fair. And for what.
