I want to push my H-index to 12 this year, which doesn't seem at all unreasonable (if I were to, you know, remember to log my plays). I also want to re-org my Kallax so games that are waiting to cycle out have their own cube, also so that there's a cube for my cat.

Thoughts on H-index: I went in and backfilled a bunch of plays for various games. My H-index sits stubbornly at 9, probably because I keep forgetting to log as I play. I want to rearrange my gaming Kallax so the (solo) games I play least often are closest to eye level.

(let's not kid ourselves - a lot of my adventurousness around foods, and certainly a lot of the way I describe food in writing, came from reading too much C.S. Lewis and Brian Jacques as a kid. Narnia and Redwall had some amazing-sounding foods that I desperately wanted to try)

This - and I am absolutely raising my eyebrows at @_vidyala in particular - seems to me to be how art friends work. "Oh, I just made a quick sketch" (while showing you beautiful art that came from absolutely nowhere in literally seconds). According to my wife, that's how I food.

Backed off the temperature from where I normally make pizzas because I built this on parchment paper and don't want to burn that or the oil or pepper. So I'll do 425 for 15 minutes on a hot stone and see how that looks.

Oven heating up with the pizza stone. I have worked the leftover pizza dough (long ferment - 90 hours at room temp) into a flatbread. Drizzled with EVOO, worked it in with my fingers like a foccacia, seasoned with garlic scape salt and black pepper. (1/2)

Leftover pizza dough. Bake it into flatbread, slice it up and use it to make sandwiches for lunch? I've got some smoked chicken and old cheddar in the fridge, this seems workable...

Today, think about the artistry that goes into really good tabletop RPG play, the effort, for that beautiful moment of payoff when you can hear in someone's voice that they just figured out what you're doing and are equal parts impressed, amused, and flabberghasted. #rades
