Last night we did a
#PlasticPatrol
on the beach in Barbados. One of the locals saw what we were doing and started helping too. 💖 In 10 mins we collected 22 straws, 7 cups, 34 cigarette butts, 2 bottles, 1 bag and some wrappers. A small dent, but it all counts!

Snorkelling around the shores of Mauritius’ highest peak today and got on a little

mission. I’m happy to report that it was pristine - I couldn’t find any plastic but there were plenty of reef fish and beautiful coral to keep me occupied.

Agricultural run off is THE single biggest river pollution cause in the UK. It’s so poorly regulated that farms can expect inspections every 263 yrs.
To address this, gov has announced 1.2 million funding and 50 new jobs at EA. A welcome gesture but this won’t touch the sides!
