In a way, this mirrors religion. In Christianity, Jesus represents a game theoretic optimal path for escaping the prisoner’s dilemma through cooperative behavior. Bitcoin achieves the same outcome in the economic domain.

The only way out of this sub-optimal Nash equilibrium is to move the monetary stack into the digital realm, starting from the base layer itself.

Once paper money exists, gold convertibility relies on government trust, which is fragile. In war, speed wins, so the gold link breaks. If one nation prints to mobilize, others must print too. Fiat becomes the Nash equilibrium.

Paper money emerged as a layer on top of gold to increase monetary velocity. That is why people said it was backed by gold, since gold served as the base layer. Bitcoin requires no backing, because it IS the base layer in the new digital economy.

Most content is superfluous. It exists simply because the world rewards constant content. We reward noise instead of depth, because most humans cannot sit still.

Stuff like this shows why regulation is important. The only reason this stuff even exists is because the current administration loves casinos.

A Google insider has officially been exposed on Polymarket. This dude just profited $1,000,000 in a single day betting on the Google search markets. Google accidentally pushed the results early, then removed them, but not before it revealed he went 22/23 on his bets and

Prediction markets are a clear example of over-financialization in my opinion. They incentives wrong behavior all-around.

If you love BTC and MSTR, unless you have a substantial amount of wealth (8 figures+), I see no reason to touch these preferreds. Why would you when you can hold a monetary singularity and a singularity powered monetary rocket ship (MSTR)??

Let's be honest, there is no rational reason for anyone here to own $STRF over $STRD. Institutional/mandated capital yes, but for us? Absolutely not. Risk has been severely decreased after USD reserve established. Give me the higher yield thanks.

I remember when Bitcoin reached $5,000 for the first time in 2017. And now we casually rise $5,800 on a random Tuesday. One day, we will rise $100,000 in a single day. Mark it.

What about the fact that it lets people monetize electricity directly? The fact that it allows people to take individual self-custody of their economic energy? The fact that it’s the only thing we know of that’s absolutely scarce in the entire universe? The fact that it’s

One day Saylor will be worth 1 trillion, he’ll be buying the top at 10 million per BTC, and people on X will still say he’s the worst trader of all time for buying the top.

One thing I learned is that I do need to be better at being fearful when others are greedy. I was not fearful enough in either 2021 or late 2024 / early 2025, even though the greed was obvious.

Would you rather own 10% of a company that holds 10,000 BTC, or 5% of a company that holds 100,000 BTC? Because I’d personally take the dilution in this scenario every single time.

5-10 years from now he might have a trillion in Bitcoin, with a cost basis of 800 billion. People will be like “that’s less than 20% over 15 years. What if it falls below 800 billion?? He’ll get liquidated! Ponzi”
