Upon analysis of the relevant learning outcomes, educators are focussing on planetary health, critiquing the status quo, innovation & disruption, equity, values-based & evidence-based practice, food & nutrition policy, food system drivers and elements of the food supply chain.

We did however reveal that most relevant learning outcomes (n = 137) focussed on lower-order cognitive learning so there is an opportunity to create more higher-order learning opportunities. ✅Placement-based, hands-on activities ✅Field trips ✅Authentic assessment tasks, etc.

Compared to a similar audit from 2016, when only 8% of programs offered sustainable food systems education, we identified relevant curricula in 71 nutrition degrees (84%) and 18 dietetics degrees (95%)🤲

Excellent news! PM promises to cap the costs of 30 essential products in more than 76 remote stores so they are the same as what people pay in the city. https://t.co/fDjdEglB1N

This is a great side event at #COP29, happening now. It's heart-warming to hear ppl with decision-making powers describe the incredible value in handing over agency to kids, especially when solving complex issues. ⭐️Kids have creative, lateral, systems-thinking superpowers!
