It might say winter on the calendar, but temperatures are telling a different story – the outlook points to a few mild months ahead ❄️​🥵​. Across Australia, we're around 3-4 times more likely to see minimum temperatures reach the hottest 20% of the historical average

Australia just had its busiest cyclone season in almost two decades, with 12 tropical cyclones forming in 2024/25. WA recorded 11 – its most in 41 years – while the northern region had none for the first time since 2008/09. Only one formed in the east, and that was #TCAlfred

The National Climate Action Survey shows support for Australia's nuclear power ban is on the rise. In 2023, the survey showed 51% of people supported Australia’s ban on nuclear energy. But in 2024 that rose to 59%. Read more here:
