Super excited to lead this with @_ileanaf ! We’re responding to a need we’ve heard and experimenting with a format we’ve forked from professional leadership coaching. Thank you @connector_erin @LizNeeley Tara Robertson @StefanieButland for encouraging & supporting! #OpenScience

Just overheard a woman on her phone saying, “I just need you to promise me you won’t use the chainsaw!!” … I don’t think she got the promise and I really want more details!

Science twitter: I'm looking for examples of collaborative compacts / authorship agreements / other alliterized ways of saying "a piece of paper in researcher networks that establishes what being nice to each other is"; please send examples (ideally ones you think work) my way!

SO excited to have officially launched @SolvingForSci & to be working with extraordinary immunologists like @EJohnWherry @LabFairfax @SunnyShinLab @JoelBabdor @PepperMarion & so many many more. I’ve never been part of a group this ready to do the hard work to create real change
Thrilled for this exciting new initiative. It's been a privilege to be part of scientific discovery & immunology the last ~25 years, but still so many ways we can make science better-for scientists & for society. Proud to be part of @SolvingForSci with some truly inspiring folks.

It’s the end of an era. The one and only @roseveleth closes out @ffwdpod as only they can - with candor and grit, beauty and hope. All the dark, all the light, and all our dreams of what the future can be, if we have the courage to make it.

Don’t allow yourself to be seduced by the idea that most other people are awful. Who benefits from that? Not those seeking justice, equity, & safety for everyone. We urgently need to build collective power. Confront harsh realities, but please don’t cede your belief in people.

May we keep making this - for however long we have it - and whatever else we move on to - so much more than “wires and lights in a box.”

i think my incredulity about lack of masking on the left, esp among abolitionists, is this is such an easy way to be in solidarity with so many people. to show meaningful care. in any space or relationship where care is professed, masks should be embraced. and yet.
