This was for the roundtable event on Tuesday. The bigger issue they’re probably going to run into is that Tuesday was the grand opening with no detainees. Last night, the AG said they expected “hundreds” of detainees to arrive. Stay tuned….

Curious to see how this plays out now that it’s reportedly actively holding detainees. When we went for the Trump/DeSantis event, the press touring the grounds were exclusively from the White House plus one conservative influencer. Everyone else was sequestered in the main tent.
A group of Florida Democratic lawmakers are going to Alligator Alcatraz today to attempt to get a tour of the grounds, according to source familiar with the visit.

This would break Florida’s all-time record for most executions in a year. Previous record of 8 was set in 1984 by Gov Bob Graham and tied by Gov Rick Scott in 2014.
Florida @GovRonDeSantis has just signed another death warrant. This latest execution is set for July 31.
