#Ergo’s extended UTXO model makes mining pools programmable. Lithos leverages on-chain state to coordinate PoW miners without custodians. Contracts define share validity, reward splits, and pool continuity across blocks. Miners don’t rely on operators, they rely on the ledger.

Miners using Lithos gain direct control over block templates, preventing centralized censorship vectors. The potential resulting hashrate diversity pushes the Nakamoto coefficient higher for greater resilience. Censorship resistance is the objective.

Lithos Testnet 2.2.0 is live! This release brings a major upgrade. Expect 5–20x faster syncing depending on block contents. Please test it out and report any bugs you run into. v3.0 is next and will be consensus-breaking, so an upgrade will be required https://t.co/fm9qR7a3H1
