In some regards this sounds great but who will support SENDCos here, what will come off their plates to find the time (these are people who are often swamped) & how will they be supported with challenging parents who simply don’t agree with them?

My team was once asked by a HT to list all of our tasks and responsibilities. So we did. His reply was 'you can't possibly be doing all that - you wouldn't have time'. 1. How else did he think all those things got done? 2. Yes we asked for more time, but this was refused.

Educators: in what ways is your practice actively anti-racist? It’s not enough to be not racist. It’s not enough to “diversify” the curriculum/images/texts. You cannot be anti-racist until to learn to see how racism is designed into everything we do. You have to design it out.
