I love how quickly it turns from, "City have won the league" ( which I don't think many actual City fans believed) to "Liverpool do have two games in hand, i.e. we might be lucky and be able to celebrate another Liverpool title after all guys, all is not lost, panic over". #mcfc

I think British Jews have felt something like Manchester was heading our way for some time. I think many of us also feel let down by those who are meant to protect us. Just to give you a flavour of what I mean, here are some recent personal examples from my own life, as an

A few thoughts the morning after the fast. I awake like many Jews all over the world with a strangely sorry feeling. Why is this Day of Atonement not like others? Then I remember. This, Yom Kippur, is not one that the Jews of Britain will ever forget. As we were fasting

Our hearts are shattered. Emerging from the holy fast of Yom Kippur, British Jews are now grasping the full extent of today’s terror attack at the Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester. This is the day we hoped we would never see, but which deep down, we knew would come. For

After the outrage in Manchester, there are people on the streets tonight chanting for the annihilation of the world’s only Jewish state. Racism is a feature of the far right, but sadly not of the far right alone. Shameful.

This afternoon the Prime Minister said he would do everything to keep Jews safe. And this evening thousands of people are literally roaming the streets chanting about killing Jews, and eradicating the only Jewish state. It is a day of utter shame for our country.

It is sickening that this is some people’s response to British Jews being murdered as they left their synagogue on the holiest day of the year
Liverpool Street right now, it’s grim to be a Jew in the UK. I’m absolutely sick , the police is here doing nothing while people chant ‘from the river to the sea’ and glorifying violence. Prime Minister, you are responsible
