On September 19, 2025, the TH-57 took its final flight, marking the end of an era for the U.S. Navy's rotary training program. After 57 years of service (starting with the Alpha model), countless Navy and Marine helicopter pilots trained on these aircraft. I own two of these

Active duty Army aviation is restructuring to expand unmanned aircraft. This reminds me of the OH-58 retirement and its outcomes. Time will reveal the long-term impact. I'd love to hear the aviation community's thoughts.
The service will hold "talent panels" to retain aviation officers and warrant officers as pilots or reassign them to other roles in the Army.

Great work done by the @FBI @FBIDirectorKash and their partners. “Operation Greyskull” began back in 2020. Thanks them, 4 of the largest child sexual abuse sites have been taken down. These sites had over 120,000 users, over 1,000,000 files and over 100,000 visit per day.

Self-deploying aircraft & drones to disaster areas can cause serious problems. They fly around without talking or coordinating with ops. Probably equipped aircraft/crews were denied due to safety, because ops was overloaded with congested airspace & assets they didn’t control.

The return flight home in the UH-1H. We made it back Saturday (early evening) after flying across 5 states. This beautiful helicopter is now officially a Texas girl!

Taking my new UH-1H home tomorrow. We’ll be conducting our ferry flight from FL -> TX and I’m so excited about it. This beautiful girl has a lot of life left in her helping others and continuing service to her community ❤️

We only get 18 years to fill their childhood with memories and not things. My son wants to be an engineer and own his own space company one day. As his mom, I’ll do all I can to support his dreams. Thank you @NASA_Johnson @NASA for such a wonderful day!
