Jokes aside, the actual advice is that you should consider a lower COL area if you have a job that isn't unique to a high COL area You might need to be in NYC if you do IB, but many jobs can be done in a lower COL area with only marginally less pay (and way less competition)
Making $500,000 - $1,000,000+ / year and living in a low/medium COL area is an insane life hack. Talk about being able to own a huge house and stack a bunch of capital very quickly.

Everyone I know who "rarely drinks" will get blackout drunk and sick once a year with a multiday hangover since they don't know how to moderate it. My friends who drink a couple times a month always do it responsibly and don't get sick. Lesson in there.
Most likely, true health and longevity involves periodic attempts at poisoning yourself at low dosages with lindy substances
