I find the question intriguing: How attachment and cognitive functions interact? With @BosmansGuy we tested this regarding children's rumination. The secure children may benefit more from high effortful control! See:

Recent publication on the question about sensitive periods from our 20-year longitudinal study. @JaakkoTammileh1 did great work to test the effects of parenting during infancy, middle childhood and adolescence on emotion regulation.

How can it be that in 2020 researchers have to invent a questionnaire to assess "child-related bliss" during transition to parenthood. We have focused too much on couple satisfaction while missing some deeper aspects of becoming parents? Nice work!

COVID-anxiety is a fertile ground for #ConspiracyTheories . Let's stay cool and resist the madness: trolls are also likely to exploit the situation. Gallacher & Heerdink (2019) nicely show how this occurs in online forums. #reddit

COVID-19 gives a hard time for adolescents! Average increase of 28% in depressive symptoms. Isn't that huge? Nice meta-analysis of 12 prospective designs (mostly US samples). #COVID19 #mentalhealth #adolescenthealth
