Proud to see the new ICU @barnshospital open. I’ll never forget how hard our #NHS staff work and I’m delighted we secured the funding to provide a new ICU for our hospital. It will make a big difference for staff and patients. Thank you to our heroic hospital workforce.🙏❤️

Due to the current outbreak it is likely that demands at work will increase. Please ensure that you take care of yourself during this time by resting, keeping active and keeping in touch with loved ones.

In absolute awe of the team working I have seen on ward 33 this week. It has been a particularly difficult week for us in terms of high patient acuity, high admission rates and staff movement to other areas but we got through it with a smile on our faces! Couldn't be prouder!
