When I say I haven’t had friends in about 10 years before I became a streamer, this is why. When I became more disabled my friends left, I wasn’t fun anymore. My boyfriend of 4 years broke up with me because he didn’t want to have to care for me and be the only one with a job.
I think it's messed up that most people abandon their disabled friends and that it's such a common and accepted thing.
They usually blame the disabled friend. And abandon them when they need them most. Some outright say that they only want able bodied friends.

I started vtubing because I’m disabled and rarely ever leave my house or have any human interaction, it became very lonely. I just wanted to make friends 🐑💕
I started vtubing because I have a difficult time working. All my jobs kept falling through and I started feeling helpless once covid hit. I also needed to socialize, and the character creation for myself felt so empowering and has helped me with identity.
