I've done wrong. I've stolen. I grew up. I've learned. There's no way, imo this kid knew what the hell was going on without being told or taught by said manager. Instead you call the cops? Weaksauce.
@LicensePlateGuy @anthonyjdohert1 I was a manager at a supermarket for five years. If I saw this, I would use this as a teachable moment. Especially for a 16-year-old kid. You teach, coach, and hope that leaves an impression. Taking a hard line stance on a kid is so ridiculous.

You come to an complete stop all the time?.You go thru yellow lights every now and again?.Eating a few grapes from a bag of grapes you intend to buy (as the exact weight for pricing may be affected). Life is hard enough have a freaking heart. With all that said, don't steal.
@LicensePlateGuy I used to work in retail. On the application when you applied as well as each year we had to watch a video that specifically ask you if you saw someone stealing would you turn them in. Needless to say if you said maybe on the application you wouldn’t be hired.
