And if you're really hard-pressed on getting into a University, you can do your first year or two at a community college, get your grades right, and transfer.
Don’t forget, the Washington Commanders didn’t care about the Ravens’ 24-game preseason win streak.
That’s why they played their first-team offense against the Ravens’ second- and third-team defenses for the entire first half.
That’s also why G Sam Cosmi went from saying
The Commanders performance today is not out of character, its exactly who they are. They are one of the most inconsistent teams in the NFL, they are notoriously poor to start football games, they cannot mitigate the hits on their QB, they allow too many explosive plays and
The Commanders got flagged for an OPI on this play. The Cardinals are sitting in a damn Cover 2 and left the flats completely vacant off the jump, yet Bates gets flagged for contact he didn't even initiate. This was a terrible call.
The Ravens themselves have made efforts over the years to extend their winning streak. Whoever is mocking the Commanders & its fans for winning what was a very entertaining football game that just so happened to have a 5+ yr win streak on the line is really just hating lol.. And
It’s hilarious to me that people spent the whole weekend, the entire pregame, and half of the actual game, talking about and hyping up the Ravens preseason win streak, but the minute the Commanders beat them and break it, it’s “lol. Y’all happy about a preseason game?” Yep. FOMF
Skipped straight to Brian Robinson's two carries that solidified himself (in my head) as Washington's primary back. I could not start off the session until I watched these two runs. He's maneuvering in traffic here; just wait until that 2nd/3rd level is clear. House calls.

If you want to understand why Washington drafted Phidarian Mathis, just look at the Panthers center
#58
..
You don't even need to look at Mathis; just look at the stress he put on the Panthers center lol. He's too tough as a run defender.

Lol @ Teddy Bruski saying Commanders speed @ WR doesn’t compete with Kansas City. Dog they got JuJu Smith as a top 3 WR in their rotation are you kidding me
UPDATE: this shooting at Jasper’s all stemmed from a dispute over the COMMANDERS-COWBOYS football game. The man is in critical condition at a hospital. (News stations, DM if interested in purchasing entire footage)
There's a couple ways to look at the Chase move. One, I think that the comp Washington got is a byproduct of his history - health primarily, but also not as statistically impactful of some other comparable pass rushers. I think a 3rd is as solid of a ROI you can get.
But 2nd, &
Jahan Dotson's separation ability at the breakpoint is what makes him a legitimate 3-level threat. He can win short, intermediate, and deep from his athletic ability and mental processing. Have to keep feeding him, and it'll pay off for this offense.
A lot of smoke for Forbes on the TL. The smoke is fair, not a good game. Got targeted early and often. It is what it is, and that's where it should stop. But some of yall have to stop drawing conclusions because he lost on some reps to Brown & Smith, 2 elite WRs he faced in one
There’s the Kirk Cousins that we all know. 4th & long and Cousins decides to impatiently check it down to his tight end that loses Minny the game. Kirk ain’t new to this he true to this.
Curtis Samuel first year in DC has just been.. terrible.. but what’s crazy is i don’t know what situation has been more frustrating - - Dyami Brown’s first year, or Curtis 🤔 both had a good amount of expectations and they play the same damn position.

Moving Tyler Larsen up to the starting lineup has drastically improved the protection up front. It could be a season-saving type of move, not playoffs, but as it relates to Sam Howell. For 7 weeks it was about finding a solution to the amount of hits/sacks that Sam was taking b/c
Daron Payne dominated on the Broncos opening 2H drive. Easily winning 2 1v1s to earn a sack and TFL. Closes out the drive with a 3rd down PBU coming off of a well-executed ET stunt.

The screen design for Cole Turner was excellent. Maybe even a house call had Turner kept his balance. EB did a good job using Mitchell Tinsley and Brian Robinson as eye candy to get the defense flowing away from Turner, who sold his block perfectly.
No disrespect to his offensive staff in Arizona, but I don’t think Kliff Kingsbury has gotten close to the level of support that he’ll have here in Washington.
Washington got the first down but the Cardinals definitely survived a coverage bust on the 5th play of the game with Dyami streaking on the sideline. Great protection up front on this rep.
Sam Howell was pressured on 17 dropbacks vs. New England. Went 8-13 for 108 yards and sacked 3 times. I think his production in these situations was a good sign of progress b/c as much as I think the OL made a difference over the past two weeks, his being decisive under pressure
Wondering what Washington got planned for Jamin Davis now with these two LB acquisitions 🤔
It’s interesting to me, they can rewrite Jamin’s trajectory this season.
I felt like this pass had definitely hit Curtis Hodges's hands in real time, but never got the replay. I honestly don't understand the lack of urgency/competitiveness from him. Fromm threw a catchable ball, & I don't see a player that looked like he really wanted it. 3rd & 11.
Washington acquired Wentz in March, Jimmy is “possibly” being cut in August. And this is mainly due to a shoulder injury Jimmy’s recovering from. This is beyond a moot point lol. No team is waiting that long for a QB when they didn’t have one.
Seems possible the
#49ers
may cut Jimmy Garoppolo at this point.
Remember when Carson Wentz & Jimmy-G were comped as similar, costly trade targets in spring? Imagine if Jimmy-G is cut and available for peanuts after
#Commanders
spent a 2nd, 3rd, and $28M in cap space on Wentz.
Contract talks with Taylor Heinicke will be interesting this offseason. How much will Washington be willing to pay and what does Taylor want out of his next opportunity
Bosa with a quick win on the edge vs. Leno but Wentz's vision is crazy lol able to find Williams at the last second to avoid the sack and flip it to him.
Funny enough Jay was minding his business before RG tweeted that man. And I still can’t even tell if RG was serious or just showing off for Twitter lmao but it resulted in BMitch catching a stray in one of the more avoidable interactions on this app.
@JPFinlayNBCS
If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck... this is as bad as it looks and oughta tell people something about the candidate. Not the openings.
@HunterGlass57
If Heinicke cuts in 3 yards before he slips & it's a touchdown. It's a missed read on an easy cutback that he should've scored on.. whether Dotson makes the block or not..
Not a f*** it ball but a f*** you ball. Ball placement doesn't get any better, throwing it to Terry who's surrounded by three damn DBs. I like the decision to take the shot on a 1st and 10. Paid off big time.
The Mike Shanahan era in Washington lasted four seasons and yielded three 10-loss campaigns, zero playoff victories—and a memorable coaching staff.
With innovators Kyle Shanahan, Sean McVay and Matt LaFleur, the team never knew what it had. From 2019:
Whatever you need to say to make yourself feel better Ron. You signed up for this shit, you said this was the type of control you wanted. Two more days of this and I am free lol.
Ron Rivera opens up a bit about his Washington tenure, says circumstances forced him to take on too much non-football role: “For 3.5 years I’ve been managing. About the last 5 weeks I’ve been coaching.”
Now that i can talk in absolutes lol.. I love the Jayden Daniels pick, and hearing Peters confirm he was their guy for a long time is more assuring.. JD is a game changer in all phases -- with his arm and legs. Smart, competitive, and understands high-stake situations. I need
Ridgeway made a crucial mistake but please understand the game didn't come down to his penalty. I think most ppl know this though. I hope ppl know this. Lol.
Came across this 💎 of an observation from Ryan Clark about something he went through between RG3 & Jay Gruden. More so speaking on Gruden’s leadership skills.
Who would want to see a reunion between Urban Meyer and Dwayne Haskins (

) in Washington D.C.?
Do you think Urban could take the Redskins back to the playoffs? 🤔🤔🤔

Clearly Terry & Jaire been chirping at each other all game lol but Terry got the last word on a TH trust ball. Out before Terry reaches his break (Clark beat Charles & Larsen to create pressure). No separation here either but Terry still came through to make the play for TH.

defense over the past 4 games:
- 286 ypg (would be 2nd in NFL)
- 76 rush ypg (would be 1st in NFL)
- 210 pass ypg (would be top six in NFL)
- 21 ppg (would be top ten in NFL)
Do you think that they've officially turned the corner? Or do you want to see more?
