Our industry should be a leader in advancing the discussion on a living wage. Raising the minimum wage has NEVER caused a recession or a decrease in asset values over time. Happy employees make for happy guests, making owners more profitable in the long run.

So many jobs in the travel industry have been lost in 2020, and each of those jobs is attached to a person and their family. My hope for 2021 is that our industry can welcome these people back to work and families back to some security.

The CDC reversed its guidance to say that people in close contact with a COVID-positive person don't need to get tested. This is not science. It’s politics. Politics that are dangerous to public health. It's indefensible.
