The constant denial and erasure of so many anti-Zionist Jews helping lead pro-Palestine protests at Columbia and everywhere in the United States is one of the most Orwellian things I’ve witnessed in my life.

In response to “horrific” scenes of antisemitic harassment at and around campus, the Orthodox Rabbi at Columbia/Barnard sent a WhatsApp message to more than 290+ Jewish students this morning recommending that they go home until it’s safe again for them on campus:

UNRWA is vital for distributing food+preventing starvation in Gaza. Any wrongdoing must be investigated, but we must restore funding NOW. Netanyahu's long wanted to dismantle UNRWA—doing so now would be a death sentence for thousands. I’m demanding action:

Ahh the apologies are coming out. It doesn't matter, the lies have been spread. BBC & others have peddled in insidious, purposely anti-Palestinian and unsubstantiated information that is having a direct & fatal impact specifically on Gazans, whose slaughter is being justified.

Can some please explain to me why Israel is continuing to bomb #Gaza if all the hostages are there? I’m not trying to start a fight. I’m genuinely wondering what is being done to get the hostages back alive? #IsraelGazaWar

We must call out Hamas for the evil that it is. But those seeking to use this moment to demonize & dehumanize all Palestinians & Muslims are complicit in the deaths of innocents like the brutal hate killing of this 6-year-old Palestinian-American boy, stabbed to death in Chicago.

Six-year-old Wadea Al-Fayoume was stabbed to death by his family’s landlord in Illinois over the weekend. His mother was injured in the stabbing. Police say the victims were targeted because they are Muslim, amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. https://t.co/rllyWIg7kY

We are shocked and disturbed to learn that a landlord in Chicago expressing anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian views broke into a Muslim family's apartment and attacked them with a knife, injuring the mother and killing her 6-year-old son, Wadea Al-Fayoume. @cairchicago will hold a

Thinking of my sister today. Harvard was a singular obsession with my mom during my childhood and it became my sister’s singular obsession throughout her short life. It became my own source of insecurity as a 2.8 GPA Asian (we exist) who sucked at math and standardized tests.

Look how proud my dad is in 1995 when my late sister graduated from Harvard. We lost her 9 years later to suicide and I’ve spent the last 16 years redefining what a life well lived actually means for me and everyone I can impact. #WorldMentalHealthDay

These are my teammates. We are Olympic champions. Three of us tried to give birth. Two of us experienced near-death complications. One of us died. We have to, and we will do more. Tori’s death cannot and will not be in vain. https://t.co/cE4o00nP9c

Tomorrow is my birthday. The past two weeks were extremely tough. For anyone who is reading this and going through grief and/or trauma, I would like to share a poem by Turkish poet Nâzım Hikmet Ran (1902- 1963), which kept me going in most difficult times.

Ok so I watched #YouPeople last weekend and genuinely really liked it. I thought it was super entertaining and I was laughing a lot (which I sorely needed after a long week) BUT I wish they hadn’t made Amira’s family Muslim. That was tokenism and felt unnecessary. It was weird.
