My support team that helped me get to John O’Groats safely, again have been instrumental in my recovery to date. On & off the bike I am so grateful for my close friends & to everyone has send messages.

Hopefully then, life can return to normal, I can get back to cycling & dare to dream again by attempting more records 🤞

Reminiscing of arriving at John O’Groats 3 years ago today, a happy memory meaning more than ever now in my current health. Currently, I am recovering & progressing from the stroke I had 10 weeks ago. Still under investigation & awaiting a procedure for a PFO closure ❤️‍🩹

I am confident I will make a full recovery , I just need to be patient and let my body repair.

I am back home recovering, & readjusting. I am Grateful to have full mobility but still struggling with some day to days tasks, including communication but thankfully my speech has returned. Once again, my friends & family have rallied round to help and support me 🥰 nd

I will be taking a break from cycling 😏 Last week I had a stroke , still under investigation it looks like it was caused by a Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO).
