I’m in mourning for the:
• BBC I once loved
• journalists I once respected
• the politicians I thought had courage
• places I can’t visit
• people who don’t believe me
I’m fighting for my daughter who will never be vaccinated or assigned a number to live.

Welcome to Bath! One empty bus lane and one gridlocked mess crawling into the city. Well done
@bathnesld
@Wera_Hobhouse
squeezing us onto fewer roads is a disaster for business and residents.
@FreeBathStreets
This beautiful image is of planters and bollards being removed in Warrington. The Council listened and an LTN is gone. Well done residents! Fight for our freedom to move
#together
Right now it feels like England is the freest country in the West. But my family in Scotland’s freedoms are still being removed one by one. How can this be possible?
@BorisJohnson
you MUST stop
@theSNP
from ruining Scotland any further.
People I have a physical reaction against and can’t watch:
🤢 Sturgeon
🤢 Trudeau
🤢 Ardern
🤢 Johnson
🤢 Hancock
🤢 Biden
🤢 Harris
🤢 Schwab
🤢 Zelensky
🤢 Bono
Imagine watching the news. Who have I missed?
Daughter unwell. Three days to see a GP face to face. Bacterial lung infection. Now on antibiotics which she could have been half way through by now. GP was agency staff. Where are they all?
My 80 year old Mum visiting Bath and trying to figure out how to pay for emissions based parking via an app. Gave up. What a joke you are

Top tips from heating engineer:
1. Turn thermostat down 1 degree to save £145 per year.
2. Buy reflectors for back of radiators.
3. Move furniture away from radiators.
4. Get rid of the government.
Had a medical check up today and the Dr (not GP) said that:
• Covid response was ridiculous
• Disappointed by many colleagues
• Bath Council wasted £7million on bollards
• Climate Emergency is bollocks
• People have had enough and there’s going to be trouble.
He’s right.
Family friend bought an EV. It wouldn’t start one morning. Manufacturer said they could come in 4 weeks. The RAC came out in four days. Battery broken but only under warranty for a year and a week. They’d had the car for a year and 2 weeks.
How’s this going to work then?
Maybe more people can now see that our parliament has been highjacked by global powers.
That we have been coerced, lied to and abused for at least two years.
And that we must not comply with anything else that will hurt us or our families.
NEW BATH ROADBLOCK
Another classic LibDem Bath &NE Somerset Council move: block a road in the centre of Bath against the majority wishes and call it a ‘temporary trial’. Haven’t bothered with planters this time. This is going down very badly.
@Wera_Hobhouse
we can’t hear you.
Lady working in a shop in Bath today:
“All the shops are closing. It’s terrible.”
Me: “I know. Lack of parking and road blocks are a big part of the problem.”
Lady: “Yes. I voted for the Greens to stop the LibDems.”
🤪
@sajidjavid
Are you serious? I would never have voted and campaigned for the

if I’d known that it believed in mass immigration.
This level of uncontrolled movement is affecting our schools, hospitals, businesses and hotels and changing our cultural dynamic. But hey, so what?
"We have 68 shops here, 75% of those surveyed looking to close or relocate within 18 months due to LTN.
The council wrecked the business model overnight - with no consultation"

this is nuts
We're organising; get involved:
An invitation for all health professionals to a conference in Westminster this Saturday! It’s a great opportunity to come together and find a better way forward.
@thecoastguy
Oh. Why would an account be suspended for asking Bath and North East Somerset Council to respond to residents’ concerns about how we get about the city? And how our taxes are used? 🤔

Sweet Jesus. Parliament is worried over a trip about trees when it it is packed to the rafters with MPs who have not stood up for our freedoms and medical rights. All best wishes
@ABridgen
and keep fighting!
Could this be a council that is actually listening? Let’s fight this together.

I am sick to death of our grubby institutions and politicians too weak to stand up for the public.
I won’t vote conservative, Labour or LibDem.

Thousands protest Bath's controversial LTNs
Matt Byrne “4,000 people have signed that petition but the council won't listen to us so we feel unrepresented. It feels undemocratic and it feels like a scheme is being imposed on us."

Loved being back in Edinburgh today. Such a beautiful city. Not sure about the enormous potholes and didn’t see a single cyclist between Hillend and the Botanics but I’m sure the plastic bollards are useful for something…
Well done

😬
Bath and NE Somerset 4th May elections.
Come out and VOTE AGAINST splitting a World Heritage Site into 4 cells, covering it in cameras, £9million bollards, LTN barricades.
That’s what the LibDem/Green/XR council want. Many candidates standing do not.
@pcworld
thank you for letting your staff decide if they want wear masks. Just had a brilliant maskless shopping trip in your Bath branch served by two happy employees. Makes a big difference for my daughter to see “normal people” again. 😁👏

How much longer are people going to let councils destroy our cities and our way of going about our daily lives? Wherever the money came from it’s the councils pushing all these restrictions through. Stand up to them

In Bath a consultation nearly 70% said no to emissions-based parking. They were ignored.

Take Back Democracy
Info:
Section 60 Stop and Search “is a power designed to provide an exceptional response to anticipated violence.” This is misuse of powers and sad to see in the UK.
@SuellaBraverman
In Bath democracy is taking a beating.
Just one councillor- Manda Rigby gets to decide if the roadblock is made permanent in Southlands.
Council Survey
57% opposed
40% supported
3% did not know
But Manda knows best. 40 more coming.
Stand up row with optometrist trying to make my daughter and I wear masks to “keep everyone safe”. No exemptions.
Him: purple with fury which clashed with his blue mask and gloves.
Me: adamant.
Result: maskless appointment and apology for shouting.
It’s a full time job.
I now know of a total of four suicides because of lockdowns but no-one who died of the disease.
I can’t move on from that fact.
And yet it’s being added to the list of things we must not speak about.
Traffic Free days in Cheddar Gorge.
Never mind impact on local businesses, surrounding areas and freedom of movement. What’s really important is what a group of cyclists and extremists want. Starts off as one day and then what? Which roads are next?
Well done LibDem Bath and North East Somerset Council - ruining Keynsham High Street wasting our money on dangerous cycle lanes that no-one uses.
@bathnesld
@Wera_Hobhouse
Had an ambulance stuck behind me tonight on the Upper Bristol Road, Bath. The stupid white poles lining the underused new cycle lane meant I couldn’t pull over.
When are the eco-tyrants in our councils going to admit they’ve messed up?
Bath is not happy with LibDem councillors running sham consultations and forcing through 40+ LTNs in the name of

@Wera_Hobhouse
you need to start listening to your constituents!
How much are Bath residents paying for this poor guy to stand here all day to man the tiny roadblock? I hope he enjoys the same free parking as the councillors.

I wonder how long it will take before our cities become unrecognisable.
Will we have to shop online? Fix our own plumbing? School drop off will be different. How about visiting family and friends in different zones/cells (Bath)?
I wonder when more will stand up to it.
Things I didn’t vote for:
LTNs

Camera infiltration
Travel restrictions

Permits to drive

Councillors and mayors are bankrupting our cities up and down the country with their neglect of public transport and focus on extortionate anti-car measures: roadblocks, bollards, cameras cost fortunes.
Breaking | Several ambulances have been unable to access Cheap Street in the centre of Bath due to a failure of the security bollards.
A call handler at B&NES Council confirmed the bollards were "completely locked, we're unable to open, close or do anything with them".
