I don't understand why you'd think that. The prices track where I live in Denver. 20 years ago you could rent a 3 bedroom ranch for $700. Today that home is $3500

When I was 18, in 1967, I was able to go to free college and rent a small cottage in Queens NYC with a friend for $150/month, 75 bucks apiece. & I paid for it & lived fine working a NYC cab for 2 nights a week. "the "GOOD OLD DAYS" was quite true!!

This is the reality. One of my friends, graduated from the Harvard Law school with so much debt that he is losing his mind how he will live and what kind of quality of life he can have! If you're not a legacy kid, then you have absolutely no chance in hell to make it over here~

Water views outpaced inflation. Kinda sucks. About 80 years ago Grandma Mary would travel the East coast and buy waterfront properties for a song. She died very wealthy.
