I am horrified by the targeted shootings of Minnesota state legislators, reported to be politically motivated assassination attempts. Acts of political violence have NO PLACE in the United States of America. We settle our differences at the ballot box, not through violence.

Child advocacy isn’t just what I do — it’s who I am. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, I know what it’s like to feel invisible — to believe that if people really saw me, they’d have realized the truth about what was going on. Last month, I walked 1,500 miles across Florida.
In April 2025, during Child Abuse Prevention + Sexual Assault Awareness Month, thousands of walkers joined Lauren's Kids to trek 1,500 miles across FL – spreading awareness, education, hope, + healing. Together, we're protecting children + empowering survivors.
