Playing around with Control Rig in @UnrealEngine and I have to say, the team at Epic Games have done a fabulous job of making it user friendly and intuitive - so that even someone like me can pick up rigging and animation from scratch!

Unfortunately, I have never gotten around to working on an actual 2D game in my career. This is my attempt. I was messing around to create a basic character out of base sprite shapes. Lol Now, I like this guy, very cute! Feel like he'll fit into some sort of a fun game!

i am really good at using LLMs. like, for programming. scary good. but these things have their limits. they are only useful as extensions of yourself. and sometimes they hit a wall. if you give up on understanding everything, you will get stuck, and you won't be able to move

Great thread on dot products.
The dot product is used everywhere in games, often with unit vectors to determine how aligned they are. But if it’s never really clicked for you, this thread is full of visual examples.
