I think there is a better chance for Trump to make meaningful progress with Putin than people expect. Why? Sergey Lavrov has, for a decade, wanted bilateral talks with the U.S. rather than collective bodies. Lavrov won’t waste his one shot to make direct progress with Rubio.

This explosion is bad. At least two are injured. This was one of the plants that was saved when Trump approved the Nippon Steel takeover a few months ago. I have not seen the helicopters flying over to take people to Jefferson Hospital, but apparently that’s been happening.

Mason Rudolph looked exceptional on that opening drive. 7/7, used the middle of the field, great touch on the passes. Did it against the Jax first team defense. He always looks like a quality starter. And Darnell Washington has turned into a nice pass catching TE too.

Jim Lovell was an American hero, and Apollo 13 is one of my favorite movies. Just an uplifting story of what makes America and Americans so wonderful when confronted with adversity. I have an autographed copy of his book “Lost Moon”, the book the movie was based upon. Godspeed

I tweeted this a month ago, when Dave Parker passed away. The tweet took off, and people were surprised to learn about the Cobra’s strong battle with Parkinson’s Disease. I’m resharing on his Induction Day into Cooperstown because it is a day of triumph for an all time great.
Dave Parker had Parkinson’s for 13 years. He was able to live long enough to learn he was voted into Cooperstown, to be honored at Pirates games, and to see how much Pittsburgh appreciated him. His passing is tragic, but he bravely kept living and saw how much he meant to people.

To the points I made in this tweet, it seems like the conflict with Iran ended before the NBA Finals did. The markets seem to think so. Likely the only thing to play out is who’s is running Iran when the NFL regular season kicks off.
At this time, no nations have supported Iran militarily. Iran’s response capability has been limited. Their leverage was ending uranium enrichment, and they chose not to. So what choices do they have? Unilateral military response, internal regime change, or suing for peace.
