My grandpa z”l escaped the ghetto, joined the partisans, and killed Nazis with his bare hands. He would’ve gone Inglourious Basterds on Hamas’ asses.

This observation deserves its a PhD dissertation. cc @DBashIdeas
@ldkop On that note, can you explain why everyone has a different Hagaddah at Orthodox tables? Growing up, the entire table had a uniform Maxwell House, etc, but it’s an entirely different culture at frum tables.

Reminds me of the ham quiche I once spied at a “god-optional” Lab/Shul potluck kiddush

It is not, in fact, a win for you to make fun of people who have different minhagim or chumrot than you do; in fact, it’s perfectly fine for people to do things differently than you do.

Private David Moser was a Jewish-American soldier who served with valor in World War I and died during the Spanish Flu pandemic. Despite his Jewish faith, the U.S. government buried him under a headstone engraved with the Latin Cross—a symbol of Christianity. I represent Private

Buying extra tissues and mixing extra salty saltwater for the masses who routinely go a week at a time without rice and beans but catch terminal Kitniyos Fever every spring like clockwork.
Eschewing kitniyos is NBD in the era of food science and boutique kashrus. 🫘🍚🌽🥜 Imagine Ashkenazim in the pre-Columbian, pre-potato era, ffs.
