Reminder, the NHS Rainbow Badge started explicitly as a way for Doctors to signal that they were LGBT, or supportive of the LGBT community. They existed as a sign to LGBT patients that a doctor could be trusted in that regard.
Their co-option to a generic NHS symbol isn't great.
This week, we are celebrating two years since the NHS Rainbow Badge launched at Evelina London as a way to signal support for LGBT+ staff, patients and their families.
