My favorite Roblox Studio command for debugging directional (keyboard / gamepad) navigation. game:GetService("Selection"):Set({game:GetService("GuiService").SelectedObject}). Sets the Selected object in the Explorer to the Selected object in GuiService :).

Has anyone built a good Luau UI Component Library that doesn't have any dependencies on any frameworks or other packages? I'm curious what it would look like and am only familiar with how i've attempted this in the past.

testing out runtime management of stylerules (e.g. when you have 1000 stylerules, only adding them when they are used). As expected, laggy on the application of the styling. wonder if theres a way i can speed it up but i think i'm at the whims of collectionservice and styling

Stress testing stylesheets by recreating this free webflow template in Roblox So far stylesheets are AWESOME 👏. Editor is a little buggy, and we need enum support when adding attributes/tokens✍️. Media queries + animation support would unlock so much 🔓

I think this is my final result! Not sure how i feel about the colors but those are easy to update, and i do like disambiguating the labels and headers from everything else. Thanks @BoatbomberRBLX for the . s suggestion - helps a lot.

Multiple years later i poked around our proximity prompt code and have a proof of concept of how this would behave if we built it in!
Got this working by making *additional* ProximityPrompt's for every prompt I wanted to have an interactivity indicator for 😬

ahhhh so much better!. someone pointed out to me that this format of viewing these values is a little weird in general, and it's a good point. Why is this not a table? might look into that.

Getting head start on my "Unhack" this year for Hack Week - improving the readability of the microprofiler!. What do y'all think? So far I've corrected the aspect ratio of the font, and increased the opacity of the background. My goal is to replace the font entirely 🚮
