Told my kids about a book idea over tea. 11yo: I think you should just go back to basics. Write something like Mabel. Your other books don’t do that well. Me: I mean, I’m doing ok. I’m at number 38 in the Kindle chart. 11yo: With WHAT? . Keeping me grounded.
