Last week I officially graduated from my PhD, by the University of Galway, surrounded by friends and family. I have no words to express my gratitude for the great mentorship, support and friendship received over years. Couldn’t have aimed for a better team!

I already had a thing for amygdala. It is involved in the regulation of so many processes... From sensory, emotional, cognitive... to apetite! And it is sex dimorphic!!!! But nothing compares to be named after an almond 😍
