The PJ promised to work closely with stakeholders such as LASPNET to find lasting solutions to those pitfalls. Before her address, she inspected stalls for the different exhibitors including the Judiciary, UHRC, Ministry of Defense and Veteran Affairs Legal Aid desk and LASPs.

She acknowledged the pitfalls currently bedeviling the administration and dispensation of justice in Uganda, including case backlog, prison decongestion, limited legal aid and technicalities faced by the public as they navigate the justice system.

LASPNET was honored to host the new Principal Judge last Saturday to officiate and close it's Legal Aid Open day held on the sidelines of the A2J Run 2025 - an initiative intended to spotlight bottlenecks of A2J as well as fundraise for the construction of the Legal Aid House.
