OMG Has anyone shown this to @brianlilley yet? Humber College & Finch West stations are at Highway 27 & Keele Street respectively. I mean that almost makes as much sense as TMU station being at Dundas St. The conspiracy has been broken. The TTC will sometimes name the street đŸ€Ż

You can't get dumber than this. Taking the name Dundas off the name of Dundas station because of fake slavery claims and then leaving Dundas on the sign of the renamed station. https://t.co/OpBOSTi6sm

This renaming only cost $1 dollar because utilizing @rpoconnor’s expert math skills that says, checking notes “all $400k went in changing Dundas Street Station to TMU.” This is a bargain. Look out for more miss-ed information from the city’s RyGuy. Always giving us FACTS LOL

Renaming Dundas subway station to TMU will cost the Toronto public $400,000 in new transit maps alone - yet the new station signs still read "Dundas", presumably because "TMU" is geographically meaningless to most transit users. Great job, City Council!

The Distillery Winter Village is an overpriced, overcrowded mess. The only thing it represents is the over-commercialization and greed of the holidays. At over $18 per adult just to enter, this is not a realistic family outing for Canadians who are struggling to make ends meet,

The renaming of Toronto’s Dundas subway station to TMU is another reminder of why historical decisions require more than symbolism — they require substance. The impetus to remove the Dundas name arose from the misguided and historically naive suggestion that Henry Dundas

Yikes @rpoconnor seeing his $400k claim crashing and burning (I guess the bots RT’ing aren’t enough) The unhoused isn’t a failure of the TTC. When did the TTC become a housing agency? Come on Ryan keep up. If you’re going to attack the system at least come with the right fact.

More Toronto subway adventures as the car is in the shop! City Council blows $400,000 on new maps which read "TMU Dundas St." instead of "Dundas" (because that name was cancelled) yet has no resources to address those living on the subway or to stop riders from urinating on it.

Bradford was on council when this process began in 2021, and voted for it. Chow wasn't. She also hasn't spent any political capital on this - it's embarrassing you've tried to make it into a scandal when it isn't - the maps have to be updated for openings of Lines 5 and 6, anyway

Yes @brianlilley b/c police offices & crossing guards work for free in our city. đŸ€Ż It’s so diabolically funny that if drivers stopped speeding our streets would be safer for vulnerable road users so we wouldn’t need speed cameras to pay for additional police & crossing guards.
